The Crew
It's taken years for Professional Applications, Inc. to gather
some of the finer craftsmen in the area. Because sub-contractors
play a major role in the success of any building project, we use
only professionals who have extensive experience in their particular
craft. Each of the trades involved in home construction and remodeling
is an expertise and art form that requires not only a dedication
to detail, but also years of experience. This combination results
in the superior results you receive from Professional Applications,
Inc. So what sets our craftsmen apart? They know their crafts
and most importantly, they care about their work-the process quality
of the finished product.
- Sales:
Michael has the construction business in his blood. A published
author in building and remodeling publications, as well as a popular
speaker at trade events, Michael understands the complexities
of home construction and remodeling like few others in the business.
- Draftsman:
Rich has an extensive knowledge of the building process and
an immense amount of practical experience in technical framing
details to support that knowledge.
- General
Construction Services: Blas is one of a kind. His experience
and expertise in the trades is too extensive to list. What is
for sure is that whichever trade he executes, he instills his
work with the love and pride of a traditional craftsman.
- Electrician:
Sam's our man. It's not uncommon for an electrical inspector
to show up and know that Sam has been there simply by examining
the immaculate and artfully executed electrical work. What's ironic
is that Sam grew up in a home that had no electricity.
- Plumber:
Scott is a one man plumbing show. His experience and natural
intelligence give him the troubleshooting ability necessary to
install or restructure a plumbing system in any situation.
- Painter:
Alex is just one of a handful of talented painters working
with Professional Applications, Inc. He does an outstanding job
with any number of techniques and finishes that add color and
texture to our work.
- Tile
Work: Before immigrating from the Czech Republic, John worked
in construction in Eastern Europe. He has made a home for himself
here in the land of the free and has developed into an extraordinary
craftsman, achieving great things with all stone and tile applications.
- Carpet
and Vinyl: Believe it or not, Dave learned flooring in the
1930's and has been installing carpet and vinyl flooring ever
since. "There's always something new out there," he says. "The
business is always in transition, and that keeps it exciting."
Dave loves what he does, and it shows in the finished product.

- Excavation:
Denny moves mountains without disrupting the solitude of our
clients. Denny works the heavy machinery with an astonishingly
gentle grace. He is also committed to cleanliness and keeping
physical disruption on the job site to a minimum.
- Concrete:
Bob has been in concrete for more than twenty-two years. He's
done extensive work in both foundation and flat work. When Professional
Applications, Inc. pours concrete, Bob and his guys are all over
it.
- Designer:
Noel brings your ideas to life in the form of a professionally
drawn floor plan or comprehensive remodeling plan. She has designed
for the unique taste of Portland area home owners for twenty-plus
years.
